I have been songwriting for 9 years and have an extensive background in vocal and guitar performance. It always excited me to be able to write about my feelings with my guitar on my lap.

This is a 4-track EP that encompasses my experiences in the past year or so as a Filipino immigrant, covering my self-discovery to the external factors through the lens of my culture and heritage.

I was born and raised in the Philippines, so there are cultural and linguistic references meant to evoke nostalgia for young Filipinos. The sound is inspired by 2000's alternative Original Philippine Music (OPM), with elements of the genre-less nature of indie pop that I have adapted from emigrating to the US.
